Library Service Updates

Our Library will be closed until further notice to help limit the spread of the coronavirus in our community. Here’s the latest information we have to share:

  • Library staff will be taking phone calls to answer all of your questions and to assist with your needs. Please leave a message in our general mailbox if your call is not answered. We will be answering and returning calls throughout the day – weekends included!
  • All items will have extended due dates until well after our reopening date which is currently undetermined.

But don’t worry, we can still serve you in these unprecedented times!

Look to our Facebook page and email newsletter for updates and other content that we’ll be sharing.

Curbside Service

Starting Monday, May 11, patrons will be able to pick up and return materials, have documents printed, and borrow laptops from 2-6 pm Monday-Friday and 10 am-2 pm on Saturdays. Visit our Curbside Service webpage for full details on the program.

Internet Access

While our physical location is closed, as always, WiFi will be available 24/7 in the library parking lot.

Digital Materials

And as a reminder, we have a wealth of materials available to you digitally. You can check out e-books and e-audiobooks from the Libby app on your tablet or smartphone. And did you know that the library recently added thousands of streaming movies from Kanopy to our resources? We’ve also added access to digital editions of many popular magazines like People, National Geographic, the Consumer Reports Buying Guide, and ESPN through Flipster and RBdigital.

If you or someone you know does not currently have a library card, please call us at 970.884.2222 ext. 510. Our helpful staff can give you an eLibrary card for free! This will grant you access to all of our electronic resources!

Resources for Kids and Families

Stuck at home and need help finding fun and educational resources for your kids? Children’s Services Manager Kate Brunner will be keeping a document up to date with links to free and engaging content.

Resources for Adults

Adult Programming Librarian Darcy Poletti Harp will be keeping another document up to date with fun, entertaining, and educational content available to all for free.
