Library Service Updates: Reopening!

We’re open again! Starting, Monday, June 22, the library will be open to the public again for a limited number of hours each week. In order to keep our community safe and healthy, the Library is following safety protocols required by the State of Colorado and San Juan Basin Public Health, including the use of PPE. High touch surfaces are cleaned throughout the day and only 10 patrons are allowed in the Library at one time in order to encourage social distancing. Anyone under the age of 12 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Public computer uses are limited to an hour a day and we request that patrons plan in advance so their visits are as efficient and successful as possible.

Curbside Service

Patrons will continue to be able to pick up and return materials, have documents printed, and borrow laptops from 2-6 pm Monday-Friday and 10 am-2 pm on Saturdays. Visit our Curbside Service webpage for full details on the program.

Internet Access

As always, WiFi will be available 24/7 in the library parking lot.

Digital Materials

And as a reminder, we have a wealth of materials available to you digitally. You can check out e-books and e-audiobooks from the Libby app on your tablet or smartphone. And did you know that the library recently added thousands of streaming movies from Kanopy to our resources? We’ve also added access to digital editions of many popular magazines like People, National Geographic, the Consumer Reports Buying Guide, and ESPN through Flipster and RBdigital.

If you or someone you know does not currently have a library card, please call us at 970.884.2222 ext. 510. Our helpful staff can give you an eLibrary card for free! This will grant you access to all of our electronic resources!
