PINE RIVER LIBRARY

Connecting Community

Pine River Library Stands in Solidarity

Pine River Public Library stands against all forms of racism and hatred. Our mission is to help build an educated and vibrant community. We do this by providing equal access to information and opportunities. As our country works through the unrest brought on by the senseless and cruel death of George Floyd by a police officer in Minneapolis, we affirm that libraries are essential partners in opposing racism and violence towards any Americans, anytime, anywhere.

One of our goals is to build welcoming spaces where all feel safe and included. Even while our physical spaces remain closed, we are working to give you safe and convenient access to resources, via our digital resources and curbside services. Our virtual programs offer a place to engage with and learn from each other. Our broad collection reflects our community.

During this difficult time in our country, we stand by our mission, core values, and with our community against injustice. We remain committed to creating physical and virtual environments that are welcoming to all.

Quarantine isn’t very fun…

Hello Everyone!

I’ve always been the type of person who uses humor to manage stressful situations. Feeling cut off can be difficult for everyone so I’m happy to tell you that every Wednesday I’ll be recording a new message to my voicemail for you to access and take a moment out of the day to just relax. Call me (Becky) at (970) 884-2222 ext: 516 to hear a joke or two and some words of humorous encouragement! We are going to get through this so please take care of yourselves and each other!

Welcome!
